Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Cancer Hospital is a not for profit charitable Trust (Himadri Memorial Cancer Welfare Trust) run Tertiary cancer hospital having more than twenty years of legacy (in old premises at 16 A park lane and at present in new premises i.e. Nayabad, New Garia) in the healthcare sector to serve critical patients with high success rate and we are known for providing quality cancer care services irrespective of domestic and overseas patients at an affordable cost. Under the guidance of Founder & Medical Director Dr. Ashis Mukhopadhyay, the new campus has started its journey from June, 2018 with all types of cancer treatment and therapies.

  • Medical Oncology -

    Under the guidance of Founder & Medical Director Dr. Ashis Mukhopadhyay, our hospital has started its journey since 2004 with all types of cancer treatment . All types of Chemotherapy, Targetted Terapy, Immunotherapy and Hormone Therapy are practised here in different types of solid tumour.

  • Surgical Oncology -

    Equipped with an integrated surgical suite comprising of 3 specialized operation theatres, 1 operation theatre for delivery of brachytherapy & a state-of-the-art CSSD. All modern HIPEC and PIPAC procedures are introduced for better treatment and therapy.

  • Radiation Oncology -

    High end Linear Accelerator by ELEKTA treatment Unit facilitates the administration of high precision radiation therapy targeted at the cancer bearing tissues with minimal collateral damage to adjoining healthy tissues reducing the potential side-effects of radiation.

  • Nuclear Medicine -

    Diagnostic and Therapeutic Nuclear Medicine involves the use of radioactive isotopes administered to the patient for the PET Scan, SPECT Scan and treatment of Thyroid and Neuro endocrine cancer.

  • Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation -

    NCRI has a state of the art Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit, where all kinds of haematological disorders, both benign and malignant are treated following the global standard protocols. The Founder director Dr Ashis Mukhopadhyay had performed first  Allogenic Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT) and Cord Blood Transplantation (CBT) in 2000 in Kolkata as well as in Eastern India. We are carrying his legacy and continuing the BMT, both Allogenic and autologous in our present premises.

  • Onco-Pathology and Molecular Pathology -

    We have a very remarkable Onco-Pathological Laboratory which is well equipped with all the automated modern equipments and top notch Pathologists contribute to the Lab's effectiveness. All types of Biopsies, Immunohistochemistry, Immunophenotyping , Tumour marker tests, Frozen Section Biopsies and Molecular marker Testings are being done maintaining the standard and quality to bring 100% accuracy. The dedicated in house Molecular Pathology Consultant and the scientists detect the gene mutation profile in all kinds of solid and liquid tumours.

  • Radiology -

    All types of Diagnostic Imaging facilities are available here and well experienced Radiology Consultants examine the reports for the appropriate diagnosis. Digital X Ray, Mammography, CT Scan, MRI, USG, 2 D Echocardiography, ECG etc are practised at the regular basis. In therapeutic Radiology USG guided procedures, CT guided procedures , intervention radiological procedures like PT BD, TACE, Tumour Embolization etc are performed by the experienced and skilled Interventional Radiologist- with care.  

  • Blood Bank -

    We are running a state of the art blood bank where we provide with the whole blood, and the blood components like PRBC (Packed RBC), FFP (Fresh Frozen Plasma), RDP (Random Donor Platelet), SDP (Single Donor Platelet) at the GOVT. rate maintaining the quality and international standard. In house Tansfusion Medicine Consultant performs the plasma exchange therapy also at regular basis.

  • Education, Research and Development -

    NCRI is  an academic Institute which runs DNB programmes and paramedical courses like Laboratory technology, Radiation technology, Operation Theatre Technology and Intensive Care Technology under State Medical Faculty.

    We run a basic and translational Research Dept. as well as a Clinical Trial Dept. NCRI is affiliated to the Jadavpur University and WB Health University. Here we run the PhD programmes in basic and translational research. Our hospital is certified by SIRO (Science and Industrial Research Organisation, Dept. of Scientific and Industrial Research, Govt. of India).

    In the clinical trial dept. several MNC (List of pharmaceuticals are Novartis, GSK, Sanofi Aventis, Bristol-Myers, Pfizer, Kariyopharm therapeutic, Nicolas Piramal, J&J, Eli-Lilly, Astra Zeneca, Biocad, Hetero, Zidus Cadila, Lupin, DRL etc) run the cancer drug trials in Phase I, II, III, IV etc. 

  • Pharmacy -

    24x7 days 365 days open in house pharmacy is run by the well trained pharmacists and pharma assistants. All kinds of chemotherapy drugs, antibiotics, surgical items and other general drugs are available in a very subsidized rate.
