Purpose of this network: To develop a system of
- Early detection
- Early inclusion in modern treatment
- On treatment counseling and guidance (telephonic)
- Improve overall treatment outcome for patients
Job Description
State Level Service Coordinator:
Lead and supervise the peripheral level activities organized by the periphery level service coordinators
Periphery Level Service Coordinator:
Build a strong network of NGOs/CBOs, Social Organizations and Corporate Bodies interested/involved in cancer care at district or further down
Organize Cancer awareness camps with actual interest groups
Organize Blood donation camps where our blood bank will participate
Facilitate patient counselling informing them about various service and supports offered by our hospital Facilitate the process of patients accessing various governmental and non-governmental support to the under-privileged sections
Facilitate people in general to access our state-of-the-art services.
Necessary Qualifications
For State level service coordinator: Graduation in any stream with MSW from recognized university
For Periphery level service coordinators: Graduation in any stream
Experience in working in health and NGO sector preferred.

Advertisement for SRF Position (01) under ICMR-Extramural Ad hoc Project
Applications are invited for the post of one SRF in ICMR, Govt. of India funded Extramural Ad hoc project entitled “Evaluation of the prevalence and prognostic implication of different Consensus Molecular Subtypes of Colorectal tumours in an Eastern India Cohort: A prospective, longitudinal, observational study” Sanction No. 5/4/3-5/Gas/ 2022-NCD-II, dated 08/12/2022 under the Principal Investigator Dr. Sudarshana Basu, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Cancer Research Institute.
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in any discipline of Life Sciences/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ other relevant subjects. Scholars selected through a process described through any of the following: a) Scholars/fellows who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR/UGC NET or GATE qualified. b) The selection process through National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Department and by their agencies such as DBT, DST, DAE, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR & ICMR etc.
Desirable: Technical Experience in Immunohistochemistry and molecular biological applications like PCR and sequencing will be preferred.
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 35 years on last date of application with age relaxation as per Govt. Rules
Nature & Period of Post: Appointment as SRF for a period of one year.
Fellowship: Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Rs. 35,000/- (Rupees thirty five thousand) + 27% HRA according to terms and conditions as per the ICMR, Govt. of India.
